Local Chef Karen Hutchison has been cooking professionally for 11 years. Reared on the Central Coast, she headed East in 2012 to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. From there, she dabbled in fine dining restaurants in New Orleans before returning to the West Coast in 2014.

In Los Angeles, Karen honed her craft in high-end boutique catering operations and fast-paced music festival production kitchens. She returned home to the Central Coast in 2019 and launched Healing Harvest, specializing in intimate gatherings, events, and private chef services.

Karen's desire to explore global cuisine, inspired by her South American and Canadian immigrant roots, is exquisite and expansive, celebrating fresh, vibrant flavor, and highlighting quality ingredients on the plate.
